Season’s Greetings to everyone from Leo &
Dean, the crew of Mad Dog Voyager.

We won’t be able to be with or talk to many of our friends this
Christmas season, but know that we are thinking of you. We decided
that spending Christmas and New Years enjoying the unspoiled,
pristine surroundings and wildlife that nature has offered to us in
Glacier Bay would be a special experience. No commercialization, no
crazy Christmas crowds, no useless gifts, just peace and quiet.
This New Year’s Eve, step back from the Balls, Galas, Dinner &
Dance, fireworks, champagne and all things we expect about New Years
Eve and really think about the people in your life. What do they
mean to you, what you mean to them, what is the significance and
importance of your life. Life is a gift, it is precious and you
cannot even afford to waste one second of it.
Dig deep for the answers & meanings and remember these everyday
during 2009 – and through the rest of your life! |

Current trip: Alaska 2008 -
now with over 450 photos (more
coming)
A recent visitor emailed us a question:
"Why
do you have so many photos on your website?"
Cool video:
Very close encounter with humpback whales
Must see!
... Our heart rates
jumped, the adrenalin started coursing through our
blood
and we both knew we were helpless to change anything ...
Where
is our home port?
As you travel our website you will see that there are very few
pictures of Mad Dog tied to a dock. Like all wild animals, Mad Dog and
it’s crew hates being tied up and is unhappy until set loose. Mad Dog is
definitely not a “marina” dog. Our sailboat is
equipped with everything
we need to provide every modern convenience we have so come to enjoy and
rely on. Good food onboard, good entertainment, a warm & welcoming
ambience, good friends and visitors – what more could we ask for?
Occasionally, however, a trip into town to pick up diesel, gas or
groceries makes it necessary to tie up to a dock, but once loaded up
we’re off again.
What can I find on your website?
The goal of our website is to provide our visitors with as much
information as possible relating to boating, travelling, onboard systems
and general full time life (365 days-a-year), living aboard a 40' / 12 m
CR Yacht 400DS sailboat.
We have tried to make the website easy to navigate, but with such a
collection of information it is sometimes hard.

Want
to go boating yourself or already a boater?
For a "sailboat" website we think it does pretty good, we had over 21,000 visitors during July
2006 alone. Our updated website plans including the addition of more
product information (including "Product
Ratings" from the Mad Dog crew), updated travel & destination
photo
pages, goods & services we encounter and use on the way and all the
interesting things that go along with boating. We’ve kept the website clean and is suitable for
family viewing.
Enough of the intros – let’s
go to the Explore page and start your adventure.
Wishing you fair weather and incredible sunsets –
The Mad Dog Crew |
