Scotty downrigger for salmon fishing and more

The Mad Dogs uses this device for trolling for salmon or other fish while sailing or when we are under engine power. The Scotty downrigger has performed very well so far and has picked up several Salmon (visit the fish pages to see what we have caught while sailing) while going up north to Alaska and also within Alaska. The downrigger is very simple to use and our model is compact in size. They are not cheap but, well worth the money since it makes fishing for salmon a lot easier. Ours is in the outdoors all of the time and shows no signs of wear because of the weather.
